Every room has a view. Our Master suite is on the main floor with a King bed with Casper hybrid mattress and our lofted second bedroom includes a Queen bed also with a Casper memory foam mattress and moonlight views, accessible via spiral stair case. Grocery store, liquor store, gas station and general store are within a 10 minute drive. The town of Hobart, noted as "The Book Village" has numerous antique book stores in their quaint village and is also a 10 minute drive. In the Summer, there are numerous local farmers markets in the surrounding towns. Shop fresh, shop local! Close to all four Catskill ski mountains, Plattekill, Bellayre, Windham and Hunter. Enjoy their winter activities as well as other seasonal sun, including hiking, bike trails, golfing, world renowned fly-fishing, zip-lining and kayaking. Your host is a short drive away and available if needed. Our property is in Stamford, “The Queen of the Catskills”. Our little town is booming offering two coffee shops, general store, outpost shopping and new farm to table restaurant as well as other local businesses. The neighboring town of Hobart is renowned as the “Book Village” offering over 8 unique bookstores. The town of Delhi , a 20 minute drive through the beautiful mountains, offers some unique shopping and dining experiences. The Catskills scenic trail can be accessed by several locations close to the cabin offering 26 miles of groomed trails for hiking, biking and snowmobiling. We are in the Catskill Mountains with scenic views, lots of streams and lakes for fishing and kyacking, as well as numerous farms with cows, goats, sheep, horses and ponies that can be viewed while driving the very scenic roads. We are in a rural area and there is no taxi service. Greyhound bus service with drop off in town is available.
